First Issue of Itibapishe Iti Hollo
The R-1 was the first issued lodge patch of Itibapishe Iti Hollo Lodge 188. Issued in the 1940s and 1950s the lodge only issued 1 per person per life according to one of the original founders Hubert Powell before his passing in 2001. When trading began to pick up in popularity, the lodge leadership did not want to issue out any more R-1s or R-2s (Same patch design with minor variations) so they issued the R-3 for trading purposes. The R1 is probably one of the rarer and harder to get issues of Itibapishe Iti Hollo with so few in circulation. Most are still in private collections or have been buried with the scouters who earned them.
